The Level 4 Diploma in Project Management is suitable for employees in job roles, in any sector, that involves managing a project as a key responsibility. At Level 4 an individual can expect to be in a more senior role in an organisation. The qualification is designed to develop skills and knowledge, and to support and recognise occupational competence in managing a project to a national occupation level.
The qualification is delivered in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan School of Management with delegates receiving training input into the knowledge element at the beginning of the programme, followed by applying the skills in a real work situation within their employer, resulting in 4 stages of work:
Stage 1: Project Proposal
Stage 2: Project Plan
Stage 3: Managing the Project
Stage 4: Evaluating the Project
Learners completing the apprenticeship will have the opportunity to also achieve 20 HE credits at Level 4 from Cardiff Metropolitan University, which could then lead to progression into a relevant HE full programme.
