The employee will be based in BBC Roath Lock Studios, Porth Teigr Way, Cardiff Bay, CF10 4GA. They will also be working in the Grand Pavilion Theatre, Porthcawl, CF36 3YW. We also have an office in Sony Pencoed; Sony UK Technology Centre, Pencoed Technology Park, CF35 5HZ

The job will require the employee to organise meetings, send emails and keep in contact with our company partners. There will also be other office admin responsibilities, such as filing, photocopying, printing etc. With a minimum of 25 hours a week, the participant will become accustomed to a structured working day, ensuring the need to be consistent in their timekeeping and attendance. They will develop their communication skills by delegating and sharing workloads appropriately with other members of the team. There will always be mentors in attendance to help them develop their soft and hard skills.

They will potentially work on set when we film our documentaries and dramas, thereby helping the production team with the running/organisation of the set.

Another part of the job is with Bridgend Youth Theatre. They will be working with young people in weekly theatre classes, assisting in teaching acting workshops.

The ethos of It’s My Shout is to develop skills and confidence through working with sympathetic mentors, who will help to develop potential career pathways.
