ALS have partnered with Cardiff Metropolitan University Launch Micro-Credentials in Blockchain and Data Management
ALS and Cardiff Metropolitan University have partnered to deliver new micro-credential qualifications in Blockchain Fundamentals and Data and Knowledge Management, supporting the upskilling and reskilling of workers across Wales.
Developed in response to clear learner and industry needs, these courses create new opportunities for individuals to gain in-demand digital skills. They also provide a pathway for progression into higher-level study in data science and engineering. The initiative demonstrates the power of collaboration between universities, colleges and training providers to create a seamless, end-to-end learning journey.
Each course carries 20 credits and can contribute towards a future Level 5 Data Engineer apprenticeship qualification. Open to learners of all ages, the micro-credentials draw on key elements of apprenticeship delivery and are packaged in a flexible, accessible format designed to meet the needs of today’s workforce.
