This course is for candidates in an Internal Quality Assurance role or looking to progress in the quality assurance sector. It supports practitioners conducting internal quality assurance of the assessment process within a centre or organisation by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors.

Devise and implement sampling plans

Evidence standardisation

Carry out learner interviews

Sampling of learners work

Observation and monitoring of assessors performance

Evidence own CPD

Pre Requisite: All participants are required to shadow a qualified IQA, covering a minimum of two assessors, each with at least two learners.

Delivery:

Unit 401- is a knowledge based unit delivered via one independent study day and 3 Teams based full day workshops.

Unit 402 – all participants are required to produce a portfolio of product evidence through professional discussion, statements, and observation of their IQA practice.

All requirements will be discussed, planned, and agreed with your assessor prior to Session One.
