The iPET Network Level 2 Award in Canine First Aid is designed for individuals who want to gain essential skills and knowledge in providing first aid to dogs in emergency situations. It’s suitable for pet owners, dog walkers, groomers, and other pet care professionals. This qualification focuses on practical skills such as assessing a dog’s condition, performing CPR, managing choking, and handling common injuries and illnesses in dogs. The course includes theoretical knowledge and practical assessments to ensure learners can respond effectively in a canine first aid emergency.

Assessment details
Unit 1 is assessed by a knowledge-based assignment.
Unit 2 is assessed through observation discussion questioning witness testimonies and product evidence.
Upon completion you will achieve a Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in Work Environment.
