Learners will gain a fundamental understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a trainer in relation to legislation, equality, diversity, inclusivity and meeting learners needs. They will be able to sequence learning, plan and deliver sessions, using appropriate resources and teaching methods. They will also be able to identify the characteristics of effective assessment and feedback. Evidenced through assignment and micro teach.
This qualification is for learners interested in or embarking on a role in teaching, or training.
Delivery: 3 workshops (2 on Teams 1 face to face) and a micro teach (face to face)
Face to Face session will take place at our Cardiff Centre.
Cohorts are delivered over a period of 2 weeks, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
This course is open to all regardless of skills or experience.
Participant’s are required to engage both on MS Teams and in person in order to build evidence, using a digital portfolio. Basic digital skills and access to a digital device is essential, we strongly recommend a Laptop/Chromebook/MacBook or PC.
