Learners will be able to understand context and principles of internal quality assurance. Evidence how to plan the processes and apply techniques for monitoring systems. Understand how to maintain and improve quality. Understand legal and good practice requirements. This course is for candidates in an Internal Quality Assurance role or looking to progress in the quality assurance sector. It supports practitioners conducting internal quality assurance of the assessment process within a centre or organisation by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors
Pre requisite: All participants must have access to a qualified IQA who can provide support and mentoring.
Participants are required to complete units 401 and 402 in order to become a qualified IQA (see Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice course)
Delivery: Unit 401 is a knowledge based unit delivered via one independent study session and 3 Teams based full day workshops.
All participants are required to produce written assignment’s. All requirements will be discussed, planned, and agreed with your assessor prior to Session One.
