About the apprenticeship

Location: Cardiff

Duties:

  • Using, monitoring or auditing security tooling and infrastructure
  • Acting on threat intelligence and proactively addressing threats
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments, appropriately analysing, monitoring and reporting to ensure continuous improvement
  • Incident Response, triaging alerts, analysis and remediating security incidents
  •  Testing, verifying and validating the configuration and operational effectiveness of infrastructure, systems or processes
  •  Providing advice and guidance, ensuring compliance with, and adherence to, University security policies and procedures
  • Any other reasonable tasks required

Pay: £22,994 per year

Hours: 
31-40 hours per week
