Flexible Skills Programme

The Flexible Skills Programme (FSP), funded by the Welsh Government, supports businesses in Wales in developing a more skilled and resilient workforce. Through this initiative, employers can receive funding for up to 50% of the cost of accredited training, with a maximum grant of £50,000 per application. Whether your goal is to address skills shortages, improve staff retention, or attract new talent, the FSP offers valuable support to help you invest in your team’s growth and future.

Eligibility

Funding is available to employers operating in any industry across Wales. Businesses must be based in Wales, be financially solvent and commit to releasing staff to complete the training by the end of March 2026.

Please note that funding is discretionary and the final decision on eligibility rests with the Welsh Government.
