Fully-funded Micro-credentials

We are offering fully-funded Level 5, stackable micro-credentials in Blockchain Fundamentals and Data and Knowledge Management. These courses will help support the upskilling and reskilling of Welsh workers in key growth areas, including fintech and creative industries.

The micro-credentials are 20 Higher Education credit modules and can be used to build toward high level qualifications in the future, including the Level 5 Data Engineer. Each of the micro credential courses can be used as Recognition of Prior Certificated Learning (RPCL) giving you credits which can be used against the Level 5 qualification. Learners will have the opportunity to choose between the Data & Knowledge Management or Blockchain Fundamentals module.

This initiative is delivered in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University and with funding secured through Medr, the Welsh Commission for Tertiary Education and Research, as part of the Flexible Tertiary Pathways for Upskilling and Reskilling Learner in Wales project.
